Extensive research has shown that the cleaning process does not depend on the temperature of the water and the detergent used, but is a consequence of the mechanical action of the drum. After making sure that the appliances can help save energy in the house, all that remains is to choose the right model. There are many offers, and it is not so easy to navigate. The first thing to do is pay attention to the energy efficiency label, which gives a clear idea of energy consumption.
The horizontal arrows at the top indicate the energy efficiency class, which can range from A +++ (best) to G (worst). The color of the arrows also indicates the degree of energy efficiency of the equipment: from red for high energy consumption classes to dark green for the most energy efficient appliances. The arrows show the energy consumption in kWh per year based on laboratory tests, that is, under optimal conditions. Knowing the cost of electricity, you can easily determine the annual cost of electricity, which obviously also depends on the mode of use of the device.
